It seemed like every other house made us unzip our coats so they could see our costume before they gave us the candy. Made us cold and wasted time! And don’t even get me started on collecting change for the Unicef boxes we had to wear around our necks!

I remember being bundled up so much my costume would be too tight. Snowsuit then the vinyl red devil jumpsuit! Why I got to be a devil I have no idea. We never got a choice. Always had fun even in the snow and used pillowcases when we were older!! Happy memories in PA!!
