Hello Fabulous Farm Girl!

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve made these to the delight of co-workers, grandchildren, friends, neighbours and bake sale buyers! They are simply the best peanut butter cookies imaginable and are sweet perfection! I also make your almond joyful cookies - A LOT as well as your salted chocolate cookies. I want to thank you for my favourite cookie recipes. I follow your instructions to the letter and use only the best ingredients and have never had anything but complete success making them. I make them on the large side and wrap them individually because each one is a little gift. Thank you again!

P.S. I often wonder what other amazing recipes you have. 🤗

Thanks Karolyn! Don't know how that got messed up. It takes 1 cup of chocolate chips and I've fixed it in the post. Have a great week!

Hi Kim--thanks for stopping by. Peanut butter and chocolate were made for each other and these cookies always get raves. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Have a great week!

In reply to <a href="https://fabulousfarmgirl.com/in-the-kitchen/recipes/peanut-butter-cookies/#comment-13496">Alyson</a>.

Hi Alyson--you definitely get the award for being the most observant! I did this post 6 months ago and no one has noticed my mistake but you. So to answer your question, the recipe does NOT have vanilla in it. Don't know what I was thinking that day, except that all my other cookie recipes do have vanilla so I must have been on auto-pilot when I got the ingredients out for the picture. But your question made me rethink things and under the guise of science I decided I had to make a batch of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and add vanilla to see if it improved them. How sad for me, right? After everyone here tasted them (several times) it was decided that the vanilla did not really add anything and the recipe should stay the same. Thanks to your keen eye I will go back and take another picture but follow the recipe as it is. Make yourself a batch soon and have a fabulous week!

These look amazing! I was just about to whip them up, but I am a little confused. In the picture and text it shows/talks about vanilla, but in the recipe, I don't see any listed & how much to use.
